"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them"-
"Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough"
About me
I was born in Moscow USSR. in a family of underground human rights activists . Grew up in Jerusalem .Prior to Psychotherapy studied Theology , Journalism and Philosophy. Traveled a lot , practiced meditations ,and other mind altering practises . Had enough experience with drugs and alternative cultures .
In the last 10 years living in Berlin with my partner and son.
My approach to emotional development is educating, playful and sometimes provocative.
I am emphatic and can challenge. Feeling the suffering while developing resistance to it.
I see people well and dont beat around the bush. And try to be open about my thought process.
I work a lot with men, and like working with people with analytical thinking .
The process of healing, or a change has three legs .
The first would be understanding our emotions , and learning to regulate them . Excepting parts of ourselves that cannot be changed while finding ways to deal better with the parts that can.
Second , and most important ,for me, would be relationships. Discovering the ways we relate , and finding and training new strategies to create deep and intimate connections . It could be pleasing less, and allowing ourselves to be more vulnerable. Learning to confront other about the issues that important to us , claiming our needs and wishes and noticing the needs and wishes of others. And of course boundaries.
The third would be spirituality. Life is a bitch and than you die, is a good philosophy for depression. We need to find and create a meaning to our lives
