About me
My work is dedicated to exploring the intersection of love and sexuality — from the relationship we have with our bodies, to the way we experience intimacy and connect with others. To understand how relationships evolve, why passion dies, why we cheat. To delve into desire, heartbreak, pain, and the beautiful intensity that comes with human connection.
Storytelling forms an integral part of counselling and healing. As a sex and relationship counsellor, I’m here to listen to your story; to help you navigate the sensitive and challenging obstacles that come with love and sex so that you may process your experiences and find new levels of understanding. With this intention, I set out to create my practice — a safe space where individuals and couples can bring to light those things we are too afraid to talk about. A place where we can learn about our sexuality, foster self-love, love for our bodies and partner(s). Perhaps most importantly, a place where we can cultivate the relationship we have with ourselves, and in the process, use our shared experiences — our stories — as a catalyst for positive change.

My approach
As part of our sessions, we will explore your sexuality through a biopsychosocial lens. From reviewing medical factors that may be leading to sexual difficulties, to understanding what is happening in your autonomic nervous system when there’s pressure to perform and anxiety kicks in, to openly discussing your sexual fantasies and unpacking your cultural background and the family dynamics you grew up in, my work is integrative and judgement-free. Whether you want to free yourself from feelings of shame, explore your sexuality or deepen the connection with your partner, I am here to support you on your journey.
FRAMEWORK: I follow the PLISSIT model in the field of Sexology. My approach to counselling is integrative, client-centred and influenced by Attachment Theory and the Developmental Model of Couple’s Counselling.
COMMON CHALLENGES EXPLORED IN SEX COUNSELLING
+ Rekindling low desire in long-term relationships.
+ Working through infidelity, rebuilding trust and fostering erotic empathy as a couple.
+ Understanding the meaning and motives behind an affair.
+ Overcoming sexual difficulties around arousal, vaginal pain, erectile dysfunction and/or premature ejaculation.
+ Reclaiming your sexuality and healing from sexual trauma.
+ Exploring consensual non-monogamy.
+ Understanding your sexual orientation–who you love, who you fall in love with, and what turns you on.
+ Exploring erotic possibilities as a transitioning or transgender person.
+ Exploring kink and BDSM as an individual and/or as a couple.
+ Working through out of control compulsive sexual behaviour (formerly referred to as sex addiction).
