Many of us spend much of our time caught in our heads, replaying thoughts and stories that keep us relating to our pain in ways that deepen it. By the time most people come to therapy, they’re exhausted from living with the weight of anxiety or depression and understandably want those symptoms to disappear. My goal isn’t just to make the pain vanish, but to help you understand what it’s trying to tell you—so that you can relate to yourself and your experiences with more compassion and clarity.
I view therapy as a process of helping you find steadiness within yourself, even when your emotions feel overwhelming. As you learn to stay more balanced in the face of strong feelings, you also gain the courage and resilience to turn toward the pain that sits beneath anxiety and depression—allowing genuine healing to begin.
Together, we’ll explore the deeper layers of your story, experiences, and beliefs to help you move toward greater acceptance of life’s hurdles, and a steadier, more grounded sense of self.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods such as mindfulness and self-reflection, parts work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I work collaboratively and with warmth and curiosity—creating a space where you can develop insight, flexibility, and new ways of meeting life’s challenges.
While things like anxiety and depression often share similar emotional roots, each person’s experience is uniquely their own. Together, we’ll explore what these experiences mean for you, honoring your individuality as we move toward healing and growth.
I believe the most important aspect of a successful therapeutic process is the relationship between therapist and client. I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and empathy to create a safe space for you to heal and grow.
