I grew up in Germany and have lived and studied across several countries, learning from diverse psychologists, teachers, and healing traditions. These experiences taught me that while every culture expresses emotion differently, the language of feeling is universal and is what connects us as human beings.
Alongside my formal clinical training in Amsterdam, I’ve spent years exploring holistic and mindfulness-based practices around the world, from California to South Asia, Egypt, and South Africa. This exposure has shaped my belief that healing is most powerful when science and presence meet: when psychological insight is paired with embodied awareness.
In my work, I hold space for what feels heavy, confusing, or stuck to be seen and understood. I’ve learned that what hurts us most often loses its power once it’s brought into the light: once it’s met with safety, honesty, and care. My aim is to create that sense of safety with you: a space where what feels overwhelming can soften, where self-understanding grows, and where healing begins to unfold naturally.
People often come to me when they feel stuck: when they’ve tried to make sense of things on their own but keep circling back to the same patterns, thoughts, or emotions. My role is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where we can slow down, explore what’s really happening beneath the surface, and begin to reconnect you with a sense of clarity and trust in yourself.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and relational, meaning I tailor each session to who you are and what you most need in the moment. No two people are alike, and therapy should reflect that. I draw on both top-down and bottom-up approaches, combining practical psychological tools with body-based awareness and emotional exploration. This might include CBT for understanding thought patterns, Gestalt and attachment-based techniques to explore your relationships and emotions, and somatic or mindfulness practices to help you feel more grounded in your body. At times, we may also use creative methods, such as visualization or art-based exercises, to access deeper layers of meaning and expression.
Together, we’ll work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences, not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your natural capacity for self-understanding, growth, and presence. My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as the whole person you are: complex, emotional, and ever-evolving.
