About me

I grew up between Germany and the Czech Republic and lived in several different countries before moving to the Netherlands to study Clinical Psychology. Living in over 5 different countries - and working across languages — has deeply shaped how I connect with people. Language carries emotion and identity, and I find it fascinating how unique the ways in which we express our inner world are! During my training, I was able to work with people from all ages and walks of life and got to speak with clients and their families about how their emotional network impacts their life. Among others, I have helped clients with ADHD, high giftedness, anxiety, autism, mood disorders, trauma, and attachment-related patterns. These days, I work with individuals who are navigating moments of uncertainty, stress, or emotional overwhelm—times when life feels heavier than usual, or patterns of thought and behavior seem difficult to break. Many lessons from clients have profoundly shaped me as a practitioner: I strongly believe that our emotions are inseparable from our social, economical, and political network, that the mind and body always process together, and that curiosity and playfulness are powerful tools in reconnecting with ourselves. Nice to meet you!🍀

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Often, we are far more critical of ourselves than of others and easily overlook the resilience already within us. I believe growth is not about fixing something broken, but about strengthening what is already there. Even in difficult moments, the capacity for insight, adaptation, and strength exists within you. My approach is integrative, drawing on multiple evidence-based methods to suit your unique needs. I often combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) to cultivate awareness, acceptance, and value-driven action, and attachment-focused strategies to explore how your relationships shape your experiences. Sometimes, we may also work with techniques targeted at your body awareness and physical experience. I invite collaboration, flexibility, and play into our sessions. Reigniting joy can be a powerful tool to realign with yourself and your goals. Together, we will take time to decide which approaches best fit you, and I’ll guide you in applying them in ways that feel practical and relevant to your life. In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding your current challenges, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the patterns or experiences that matter most to you. From there, sessions are tailored to your pace and priorities, combining structured guidance with space for reflection and emotional processing. My goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you explore your experiences. With curiosity and safety, we explore what may feel stuck, and build the tools to recognize, understand, and fulfill your needs. Note: If you have questions about formal diagnostics, send me a message!

Experience

During my postgraduate training, I completed 600 clinical hours at a mental health clinic in Leiden. Here, I supported clients throughout the full therapeutic process—from intake and assessment to treatment and aftercare. Among others, I helped individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and burnout. Since receiving my licensure, I have been working: 🏡 In private practice 💻 Online via It’s Complicated 🗃️ As a work and organizational psychologist supporting employees dealing with stress and burnout Today, I primarily work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychosomatic and attachment-informed methods. I place strong emphasis on understanding each person’s individual experience and strengthening the internal resources that allow for living more in alignment with oneself.
