About me

My name is Anny, I am an expat psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults in Amsterdam.

During my psychology Bachelors degree studies I volunteered at a boarding school for international youth. That is where I developed a deep passion for emotionally supporting, developing resilience, strengthening self-esteem, motivating, resolving inner conflicts, and helping people achieve their goals and aspirations.

Since then, I continued to develop my theoretical knowledge and professional skills by studying for a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and by working and volunteering in different facilities and mental health centers for adults, children and adolescents.

I speak:

EnglishHebrew

Location:

Weesperstraat 107, 1018 VN Amsterdam, Netherlands

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

As an expat myself, I deeply understand the challenges of adjusting to a new country — from navigating unfamiliar systems to coping with homesickness, identity shifts, and cultural differences. This personal experience allows me to bring empathy, insight, and practical understanding to my work with internationals, helping them feel seen, supported, and empowered as they build their lives abroad.

Based on my vast experience and theoretical knowledge, I build a strong, warm and genuine connection with each patient and create a specialized treatment plan to support, motivate and solve the difficulties he or she is experiencing. By creating a warm, safe and accepting setting, I help my patients develop healthy emotional, cognitive and behavioral patterns that endure long after treatment is complete.

I do this by combining various psychological methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy (for children), art therapy and more.
