We can say that my desire to heal people is an integral part of my personality. Before I started my studies in psychology, I realized how interested I was in this field, and then I realized that I wanted to be more knowledgeable in this field and in a place where I could really touch peoples' lives and cause good changes in their lives.
Following this interest, I started my undergraduate education in Istanbul, where I was born and raised. During my education I never stopped improving myself, I had the opportunity to do many internships and I have completed many therapy trainings. After completing my psychology undergraduate education, I moved to the Netherlands to complete my master's degree in clinical psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After completing my master's degree, I continue to live in the Netherlands and settle here permanently. I can't wait to help you in the best way possible with the title of clinical psychologist I earned at the end of this journey.
I hope our paths cross and we get to know each other! Take care of yourself.
As someone who left her country and started a life in another country, I think that I can empathize with expats and understand them well when working with them. I have great experience in both adult psychology and child-adolescent psychology, I think I can well analyze the process from a person's childhood to adulthood. Apart from this, I consider myself competent in these areas, as I am specifically interested in trauma and received additional training in areas such as addiction, personality disorders, severe mental illness, and couple therapy throughout my master's degree.
