I often operate from a Relational Cultural theoretical background - I believe that connection with others, access to resources, and expression of the self through art, craft, movement, activism, or otherwise, are key tenants in wellness. Though the techniques I use to work with you will depend on your individual needs, I like to integrate a variety of tools in the therapy room that may not fall under the "traditional" therapeutic lens. I'm down to "go there" with you, no matter how "woo-woo" things seem to be. I've worked together with clients to explore ideas like astrology, spirituality, dreamwork, crystal-healing, and even the paranormal, in order to better help them heal. No matter what, I promise to provide you unconditional support and acceptance. Together, we'll dig deep to work through the things that feel dark and I'll support you in discovering meaningful coping skills, exploring the values that are important to you, and learning to hold boundaries that help keep you safe.
