About me

I’m Alexandra Kotsi, a Clinical and Community Psychologist based in Athens. I support individuals struggling with anxiety, overthinking, and emotional difficulties in improving their quality of life.

Therapy provides a structured space for reflection and deeper self-understanding, helping you relate to your thoughts and emotions with greater clarity, balance, and control.

As self-awareness develops, it often becomes easier to improve relationships, set boundaries, and engage with others in more meaningful and supportive ways.

I have also written the first Scientific Book in Greece on Perinatal Loss, reflecting my commitment to understanding human experience in depth and supporting individuals through complex, sensitive life challenges.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
Systemic approachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in psychological science, with a strong focus on creating a safe and genuinely human space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. In our work together, the goal is not to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and move through life with greater clarity, ease, and authenticity. Alongside therapeutic work, I offer a space for reflection and personal growth. This can support you in gaining a clearer sense of yourself, moving closer to the life you want to build, and navigating important life transitions or existential questions. We can also work on relationships, on patterns or difficulties that feel limiting, and on making choices that are more aligned with your values and what truly matters to you. Within this space, you are also welcome to bring past experiences that still feel emotionally present or unresolved. Together, we can gently explore them in a safe and supportive way, helping you make sense of your experience and integrate it with more clarity, meaning, and inner coherence.
