I am a Clinical Psychologist with 10+ years of experience across different clinical settings. I help people make sense of what they are going through and gradually build resilience.
Having lived in several cities in Greece and abroad, I am now based in Athens, where for the past seven years I have been working across both private and public mental health settings.
Earlier in my career, while working in a psychiatric department at a Greek hospital, I provided psychological assessment and support through telepsychiatry to residents of remote Aegean islands. At the time, I was somewhat sceptical about online therapy and whether it could offer the same depth as in-person sessions. Over time, this experience shifted my perspective, as I saw that meaningful therapeutic work can also take place online. Since then, a significant part of my work has been conducted online, particularly with individuals living outside Athens or abroad.
I see therapy as a process that can help people better understand their experiences and thoughts, feel more emotionally balanced and gradually gain confidence in managing their lives independently.
I approach each person as a unique individual, with their own personality, life experiences, thoughts and concerns. Strong emphasis is placed on the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process, where decisions about the pace and frequency of sessions are made together, in line with each person's needs and readiness.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s needs and goals. I use evidence-based psychological interventions, including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), focusing on identifying and working with unhelpful thought patterns.
2022 - present: Private Practice - Clinical Psychologist. I provide psychological assessment and support to adults and adolescents.
2020 - present: Psychologist, Ministry of Education, Greece.
I work in public educational services, providing assessment and psychological support to children and adolescents in school settings and Centers for Interdisciplinary Assessment, Counselling and Support (KEDASY), as well as parent counselling.
Previous Clinical Experience (2014-2020):
I have worked across adult mental health services, child and adolescent psychiatric departments, neuropsychology settings, refugee mental health contexts, and other multidisciplinary healthcare environments.
