I am a clinical psychologist, with a strong academic and clinical interest in understanding the emotional, interpersonal and social factors that shape one's lived experiences. My interest in psychotherapy comes from a genuine curiosity in how we come to define and understand ourselves though relationships, life hardships and our internal world. Over time, this curiosity became a commitment to supporting individuals in making sense of patterns that shape how they think, feel and relate with themselves and others.
In my therapeutic work, I aim to offer a collaborative and reflective space where clients can explore their inner experiences with curiosity and without judgment. I draw from evidence-based approaches while maintaining a flexible, integrative stance that is responsive to each individual’s needs and personal history. I have a particular interest in relational patterns, attachment dynamics, identity development, and the ways early experiences continue to shape present emotional life and relationships. Ultimately, my work is guided by a commitment to helping individuals develop greater insight, emotional clarity, and a more integrated sense of self.
Having Greek, American, and German roots, I value cultural diversity and bring an international perspective to my work. Growing up and studying within multicultural environments has shaped my openness toward different perspectives and experiences, while strengthening my ability to connect with individuals from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds with sensitivity and openness.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily from psychodynamic, systemic and relational perspectives. Considering that there is no "one size fits all" in psychotherapy, I aim at tailoring interventions based on each individual and their respective goals. I recognize the importance of creating a warm, understanding relationship with individuals and my goal in initial sessions is to create a non-judgemental, empathetic environment where individuals feel heard, understood and safe enough to allow themselves to express their deepest internal thoughts and conflicts.
As an individual and professional, I truly value authenticity, curiosity, empathy and meaningful human connections. I approach psychotherapy as an informative relational process that can help individuals with understanding themselves better and navigate life challenges. Together, we will work on identifying intricate emotional patterns, untangling difficult thoughts, experiences and dynamics that may contribute to your psychological well-being and relationships and developing healthier coping strategies that feel sustainable and meaningful for you.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, intimidating, or even overwhelming at times. Reaching the point of considering therapy is, in itself, an important and courageous step. I strive to approach each individual with sensitivity, openness, and respect, while supporting them at a pace that feels emotionally safe and comfortable. It would be a privilege to listen to your experiences and accompany you throughout your therapeutic journey.
