Welcome. I'm Vasilis, a clinical mental health counselor working online with clients across Greece and internationally.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety that won't subside, exhausted from burnout, or struggling with questions like "What's the point?" or "Who am I really?" - you're not alone. I've worked with many people navigating these exact challenges, and I know how hard it can be to take that first step toward therapy.
I studied Social Anthropology at Panteion University (2010-2016), which gave me a deep appreciation for how culture, society, and personal identity intersect. Later, I completed a three-year postgraduate program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Hellenic American College (2021-2024), where I developed my foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Currently, I'm in a four-year training program in Synthetic Psychotherapy (EKISYP), which reflects my belief that therapy should be tailored to each person's unique needs - there's no one-size-fits-all solution.
I've also trained in EMDR Level 1 (2022), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I'm an international member of the American Psychological Association (APA), American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), and the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IRPP), as well as a full member of the Hellenic Counseling Society.
Beyond credentials, I'm someone who values authenticity, depth, and genuine connection. I draw inspiration from existential philosophy, mindfulness practices, and the belief that therapy is not about "fixing" you - it's about discovering who you truly are beneath the anxiety, the expectations, and the noise.
Outside of therapy, I practice meditation, read philosophy (Nietzsche is a favorite), and continue learning through workshops and conferences on trauma, emotion-focused therapy, and relational approaches.
