My approach is open and respectful, providing a safe and supportive space where clients are truly heard and can explore their concerns at a pace that feels comfortable to them.
I am a licensed Psychologist and Integrative Psychotherapist with a multicultural background, offering compassionate, evidence-based mental health support to individuals from diverse and international backgrounds. My therapeutic approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Focusing Oriented Psychotherapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to create tailored interventions for clients facing anxiety, depression, self-harm, family trauma, and identity-related concerns. I bring a holistic perspective to therapy, combining clinical expertise with a deep understanding of cultural and individual needs.
My experience working with global communities allows me to create a culturally sensitive and affirming therapeutic space.
My practice is needs-informed and inclusive, welcoming people of all races, cultures, abilities, genders, sexualities, ages, and backgrounds. I am a passionate advocate for diversity and equality, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where all clients feel respected and heard.
My style is open and respectful, and I hold a space for my clients where they are heard and where they may explore any issues they bring, at a pace that is comfortable for them. I bring creativity and personal involvement to each session, ensuring that therapy is a collaborative process.
After years of practicing as a Psychotherapist, I have now fully embraced a pluralistic and holistic approach to therapy. This means that I draw on a range of therapeutic thinking and models (Person-Centered Therapy, Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic, and CBT—among other approaches) in order to accommodate the individual needs of the person I work with. It also means that the focus of the work is not just on feelings and thoughts, but also on the body/somatic side, with special attention to the uniqueness of each person and their circumstances.
