My aim is to foster a safe and supportive space where all your parts are welcome to exist in full transparency and work together to navigate life's transitions and build a more meaningful life.
I am a licensed psychologist with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University, offering therapy to Greek- and English-speaking individuals around the world. My passion is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people can reconnect with themselves, explore their thoughts and emotions freely, and make peace with past experiences on the road towards self-acceptance.
Growing up in a coastal town in Greece, the sea was always a constant presence in my life, which often reminded me of the ups and downs of human experience. Just as the sea can quickly shift from calm to stormy, our minds are influenced by the winds of thoughts, emotions, and life’s challenges. When the current changes, we may feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. My goal is to help you make sense of these tides, regain a sense of direction, and find your way back to calmer waters.
Having experienced life as an expat, I understand firsthand how cultural transitions can affect our sense of identity, belonging, and emotional well-being. My work with migrants and refugees has further deepened my understanding of how cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds shape our experiences of mental health. I believe that acknowledging and integrating the multiple identities we hold—whether cultural, gender-based, or personal—is key to fostering self-acceptance and emotional growth.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing begins with self-awareness and self-compassion. I aim to tailor therapy to my clients' unique story and work together towards self-discovery by reconstructing unhelpful narratives, giving voice to unexpressed thoughts and emotions, and building healthier relationships—with yourself and those around you.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, evidence-based, trauma and grief informed and tailored to each client’s needs. While my training has been primarily rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), I incorporate elements from relational, person-centered, and systemic therapies to ensure holistic care. At the core of my work is the therapeutic relationship— built on trust, mutual understanding, and open communication. Through our collaboration, we will explore the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, discover how past experience influence your interpersonal relationships, and develop healthier beliefs and strategies that align with your personal values and goals.
The first session is always an intake, during which I aim to get a thorough overview of your history, current situation and needs. After we have a good understanding of your needs, we can work on setting goals for your therapy sessions.
The themes we can work on include:
• Stress, anxiety, and depression • Relationship dynamics and attachment difficulties • Work-related anxiety, motivation, and performance concerns • Loneliness, grief, and life transitions • Self-image, self-esteem, and identity exploration (including gender and sexual identity) • Emotional regulation and behavior modification through evidence-based strategies
In each session, we will work together to uncover the strengths and tools that will support your journey toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and personal growth.
