About me

My path into psychotherapy started through on the ground field-work. I spent several years mentoring young people navigating addiction, trauma, and complex behavioural challenges. That work eventually grew into broader community outreach and partnering with health networks to deliver seminars on mental health and recovery.

Being exposed early to the realities of psychological struggle shaped how I understand people and change. I saw how often individuals are judged for behaviours that are actually attempts to cope with difficult experiences.

I later pursued formal training in psychology, completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology in Canada, during which I also studied abroad in Malta. I then moved to Athens, Greece to complete my Master’s degree in Psychology and continue my clinical training.

Because of where I started, I’ve always been drawn to the deeper patterns behind behaviour— how people adapt to survive difficult environments, and why those same patterns can start to feel limiting later in life.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who have spent a lot of time reflecting on themselves but still find certain emotional or relational patterns repeating.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Psychotherapy Recommended for those who want to work through emotional or mental health challenges by talking with a trained psychotherapist.
Somatic experiencingRecommended for those who want to use the mind-body connection to address the effects of trauma and restore natural regulation of the nervous system.

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, combining cognitive understanding with somatic awareness.

A lot of people come to therapy with strong insight. They understand their history, their triggers, and their patterns, but their reactions still feel automatic. That’s often because our experiences aren’t only processed through thoughts — they’re also held in the body and nervous system.

In therapy, we explore both sides of that equation. We look at the beliefs and patterns shaping your experiences, while also paying attention to what your body is doing in moments of stress, conflict, or emotional activation.

My style is collaborative, direct, and grounded in curiosity. Therapy with me isn’t about labeling someone as broken or trying to “fix” them. It’s about understanding the patterns that developed for a reason and deciding whether they still make sense for the life you want to live now.
