I was trained as clinical psychologist in Moscow, where I lived most part of my life. My private practise startet at the beginning of the pandemic, so most of my work expirience is online. Due to start of the war I had to emigrate from Russia to not face political persecution for my veiws and for my work interest (transgender and overall queer health is restritricted in Russia, openly working in this field as a mental health specialist is complicated now). Since 2021 I have the pleasure of being an educator on the basic training course for counsellors who are just strating their careers, also working with them as a private supervisor.
My main training is related to CBT and clinical psychology, but I combine it with multimodal training in specific problems, like eating disorders, or specific groups, like transgender people. I also take courses and seminars in feminist therapy, and this approach is very valuble to me as a specialist. The exact outlook of how therapy goes session to session depends on the individual case, on the needs and struggles of my client.
