Discovering high sensitivity, a little over 10 years ago, turned my life around. For the first time, I understood many things about myself. Since then, on a personal level, my life has been changing, first more drastically and then gradually, to build a reality more aligned with myself.
On a professional level, I have training in dance, art therapy, coaching, and now I am studying Psychology at UOC (Online University of Catalonia)
I have been managing activites for highly sensitive people since 2015. In 2018, I co-founded the Catalan Association of Highly Sensitive People (ACPAS).
In 2019, I participated in TEDxAlcoi with my talk: What if sensitivity is one of your greatest strengths? You can see it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osKIfZSq2M4
I have been working as a coach for HSPs since 2020.
I am a certified coach, but I also use a lot tools from arttherapy when working with clients, such as such as body expression, dance, drawing and meditation or creative visualization.
I regularly work with highly sensitive people and gifted individuals, both in 1-1 and group sessions, in order to help them to get to know, accept, understand and take care of themselves so they can live and lead a healthy life, respecting their own rhythms and flourishing instead of surviving. In sessions, the most common topics that come up, are the need for self-care tips for everyday life, the need for skills to manage over-empathy and set boundaries in order to have healthy relationships, and the need to respect all their interests, while also learning to focus, in order to build a professional career with all those pieces that conform our interests.
In those who are also gifted, apart from being highly sensitive, we work a lot on slowing the pace of the mind, which tends to go very fast, and connecting more and more to the body.
For me, the most essential, both with highly sensitive and with gifted clients, is to work on the regulation of the nervous system, because high sensitivity resides, first and foremost, in the nervous system; and to work from a place of self-compassion and no guilt; it seems lately that psychology and personal growth evolve too much around growing and learning from anything we experience, and people tend to feel that they do not do well enough, or I tend to escape from there and work from a friendly and organic place.
