I am a psychotherapist with a systemic and gender-informed approach, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Animal-Assisted Therapy. My work is grounded in a critical, contextualized, and non-pathologizing view of psychology, recognizing the influence of social, cultural, and relational contexts on emotional well-being. I aim to create a therapeutic space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences.
Over the course of my career, I have worked in diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, universities, legal institutions, and private practice. This range of experience has given me the opportunity to support individuals, couples, and families from varied backgrounds, adapting my approach to each unique context. I value collaboration, empathy, and evidence-informed practices, integrating them into my work to foster meaningful and sustainable change.
I believe in the power of relationships—both human and animal—to promote healing and growth. By combining my systemic perspective with innovative approaches such as animal-assisted therapy, I strive to offer clients creative and holistic ways to strengthen their emotional health and enrich their connections with others.
My therapeutic style is grounded in reflective conversations that invite clients to explore their experiences in depth, always within a safe space of active listening and non-judgment. I encourage clients to speak as much as they need, knowing that being truly heard is an essential part of healing. When it feels appropriate, I integrate breathing exercises and body awareness into the process, helping clients connect with themselves on both a physical and emotional level.
I work from a systemic and gender-informed perspective, recognizing the importance of social, cultural, and relational contexts in shaping each person’s experience. My approach is critical and non-pathologizing, focusing on understanding and empowerment rather than labels. I also provide tailored resources—such as books, podcasts, or other materials—that can support reflection and growth between sessions.
In addition, I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Animal-Assisted Therapy, and when relevant, I incorporate this approach to offer clients a creative and engaging path to emotional well-being. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, my aim is to combine empathy, evidence-informed practices, and innovative methods to foster resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
