My university major is psychological counseling. After graduation, I tried many jobs, including social worker, sensory integration training teacher, school psychologist, etc. I feel very accomplished. In my opinion, contact with people is the way to get into life and understand the motivation behind emotions. In 2018, I came to Barcelona to study for a master's degree in social psychological intervention, and then I started my therapeutic career with Chinese native speakers here. Influenced by my mentor, I chose the direction of psychoanalysis/psychodynamics when studying and practicing psychological counseling. I focus on identifying, acknowledging, understanding, expressing and overcoming negative and contradictory feelings and repressed emotions, and identifying different defense mechanisms. During the 14 years of my study and work in psychology, I am grateful and passionate.
I encourage patients to talk freely about anything that comes to mind, including current difficulties, fears, desires, dreams, and fantasies. During the consultation, symptom relief is achieved while benefits such as increased self-worth, better use of the patient's own talents and abilities, and an increased ability to develop and maintain more satisfying relationships are achieved. I may give patients a prompt or a word to begin their free association. Patients are also encouraged to put aside embarrassment and the urge to self-censor. I will then try to determine what the patient may have repressed from the past and how this may be affecting their behavior in the present. Patients may experience benefits at different stages of our treatment.
