I'm a psychologist from Venezuela that works as a psychotherapist in-person and online in Barcelona, where I've lived for almost 5 years. Before moving to Barcelona I lived 4 years in Ecuador, where I worked with survivors of sexual and gender violence.
As a migrant myself, I've worked with expats and migrants from different parts of Latin America that live all over the world, helping them adapt to their new realities and the challenges that come with this life-changing experience.
I have studies in Integrative and Humanistic Therapy, Gender Studies, as well as Judicial and Forensic Psychology, because I have a lot of interest in victimization, reparation and dealing with the justice system, especially for women. I've specialized in trauma approaches like sensorimotor psychotherapy and EMDR, to be able to support people who are looking to heal and transform in a non-violent, judgment free environment.
My approach is humanistic and integrative, which means the foundations of my practice are empathy, lack of judgement and congruence, finding, in collaboration and in a secure, non-violent way, the right tools and techniques for you depending on your needs. I integrate the body and somatic experience, because it gives us a lot of information and knowledge, allowing deep changes to occur in a manner that goes beyond words.
