About me

I am a person who is Neurodivergent, and in recovery from illness. I am a person in long term recovery from addiction. I have a colorful history, and much lived experience as well as formal education. I am certified in tai-chi as well, so if you want a tai-chi lesson on the beach with some counselling. I'm that person.

I am a proponent of CBT, Gestault Therapy, and Existentialism. I am trained in CBT therapy. I believe in a personal, empathetic approach with positive regard and respect at all times in a non-judgemental environment. I share experience, strength and hope with clients, and help those I serve to come to their own conclusions about involved issues.

Experience

I have worked with persons having serious mental illness for four years as a peer, and taught CBT to high risk offenders in a jail setting for one year before moving to Barcelona where I continued my education.
