Eduardo Salvador Acevedo is a Spanish trained Health Psychologist, Psychotherapist and European Accredited Gestalt Supervisor based in Barcelona and Tbilisi. He also holds a BA in Business Studies in the UK. His work integrates Gestalt Therapy, EMDR, IFS, psychotrauma and relational approaches within a humanistic and intercultural framework.
He has extensive experience working in various fields, from corporate to diplomatic and social. In Psychology his has 10 year experience with trauma, migration, conflict mediation, emotional regulation and group processes, both in private practice and in humanitarian and international contexts. Eduardo has collaborated with organisations linked to human rights, refugee support and peacebuilding, including CEAR and the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT), where he participated in the Human Rights Committee and coordinated pro bono psychotherapy initiatives across Europe.
Alongside his clinical work, he is an international trainer, writer and speaker on psychotherapy, ethics, collective trauma, group dynamics and conflict transformation. He has facilitated workshops and trainings in Spain, Georgia, Ukraine, Slovakia and other international settings, especially in contexts affected by war and displacement.
His therapeutic approach combines depth, presence and relational awareness, supporting people in reconnecting with themselves, others and their own capacity for resilience and meaning.
He has also written various articles and chapters of internationally recognised books on Gestalt therapy, peace and emocional education.
