About me

https://insightbodymind.com/

These are my main focuses: Challenges in relationships, struggles with depression and anxiety, and the difficulties of relocating to a new country!

Relationship and family problems:

  1. Problems in your relationship, whether romantic or with your mother, father, other relatives, or a friend. I assist you in understanding why this conflict hinders your progress; I assist you in connecting with your emotions, naming them, and determining how you can set boundaries around this conflict to protect yourself and your emotions; and, most importantly, I assist you in understanding this conflict, where it originated, and how to deal with it. Conflicts in various relationship dynamics are frequently the source of suffering and a barrier to progress. They can often cause physical and emotional problems for us. I'll help you move forward.

  2. Anxiety and depression: Anxiety and depression are among the most frequent mental health issues. It is a global phenomenon and a problem that almost everyone faces at some point in their lives. In my work, I help you understand where the deep sensations of sadness originate. We investigate and uncover ways to ground you, provide you tools to confront and identify heavy feelings in your day-to-day life, and teach you how to confront them so you can feel life is easier to breathe and has potential for improvement.

Anxiety also brings us headaches; we are constantly worried about what will happen and what has happened. In my work, I assist you in grounding yourself. We concentrate on strategies that help you relax your mind and tools that will help you put your body and mind into wholeness.

Relocation anxiety and stress:

Having lived in Austria, Estonia, the Netherlands, and South Africa, and being born in Bosnia, I bring a personal understanding of what it means to move between cultures. These experiences have shaped my cultural sensitivity and help me connect with clients navigating life in a new country or cultural context.

I work with immigrants, expats, and people living outside their country of origin. Relocation and cultural adjustment can bring challenges such as identity shifts, stress, anxiety, and depression. I offer a culturally sensitive space to explore these experiences and to find new balance between cultures, identities, and life directions, your professional directions and more.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Couples therapySupport for couples working through problems and who want to gain insight into the relational dynamics that contribute to the problem.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

My Services

I offer one-to-one online therapy, couples counseling, group sessions, and weekend workshops. My approach combines CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic tools to help with stress, anxiety, relationship issues and relocation issues in a new country or where you now live. .

In my work, I combine a psychodynamic and mindfulness-oriented perspective. This means that we not only look at your thoughts and emotions but also pay attention to how your body responds to heavy emotions and what it may be telling us. I see therapy as a space where mind and body can come together, helping to uncover hidden patterns and bring deeper understanding.

I work in a collaborative and exploratory way. Together, we will look at your experiences, relationships, and current struggles, with curiosity and compassion. I bring cultural sensitivity to my sessions, and I adapt my approach to each individual’s needs—whether that means focusing more on insight, emotional processing, or practical coping strategies.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can connect more fully with yourself, process what feels heavy, and move toward greater clarity and balance.
