I’m an Master in Clinical Psychology with 4 years of experience working with young adults. I specialize in behavioral therapies to help with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, or simply to support personal growth.
I’m a clinical psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, which I studied in Colombia and later validated in Germany. I originally came to Berlin temporarily, but I fell in love with the city and have now made it my home for the past 4 years.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with many young adults, particularly expats and refugees, helping them adjust to new cultures and navigate life’s ups and downs. I’ve worked with people dealing with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, trauma, and more. However, I prefer not to get stuck on labels or diagnoses. What’s more important to me is understanding what’s keeping the issue in place and, most importantly, what can be done to start feeling better.
Art, music, and dance are a fundamental part of my life, and I believe they have a transformative power. These forms of expression help me feel at home, and I consider them valuable tools for people who want to process difficult emotions without needing to use words. To me, each person has a unique path, and the approach should be as individual as their story.
I’m trained in various behavioral therapies, such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). These approaches offer practical tools for managing emotions and creating lasting change. Mindfulness is a key part of my work, and I integrate it into my practice because it has been shown to have positive effects on well-being. It helps individuals stay grounded and focused, especially when navigating life's challenges.
My approach is all about understanding what lies beneath the surface of the struggles people face. I believe that by getting to the heart of the issue, I can offer a more meaningful and personalized therapeutic experience. Using a mix of experiential exercises and strategies tailored to each person’s needs, I aim to help them regain balance and move forward with confidence, no matter the obstacles that come their way.
I currently work on the Selia platform, providing remote Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to individuals seeking mental health support. Since November 2022, I’ve been conducting assessments, offering personalized interventions, and providing follow-up care to help people manage emotional challenges and improve their well-being.
From 2021 to 2024, I ran my own private practice, where I specialized in CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In this role, I offered personalized counseling to individuals and families, focusing on emotional growth and overcoming personal challenges.
Additionally, I’m currently involved in a project supporting young adult refugees in youth services (Jugendhilfe), where I help with integration, psychosocial support, and trauma recovery. My work includes providing guidance and crisis intervention to ensure they can navigate their new lives and achieve stability.
I’ve spent the last 7 years training in Clinical Psychology. During this time, I completed a Master’s degree, along with a specialization in Clinical Psychology for Children, Adolescents, and Families. For my thesis, I applied mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help women address sexual issues, combining two powerful approaches. Before that, I earned a 5-year Bachelor’s in Psychology, where I was involved in research on addiction and emotions.
