Hello, I'm Sol, a psychologist and a passionate reader.
Committed to mental health, I have over 9 years of experience providing psychotherapy and more than 2 years participating in and organizing reading circles.
After completing my postgraduate degree in Bonds/Relationships, focused on working with couples and families, I dedicated my first years of my career to working with children and their families.
Later, I trained in various areas such as psychological first aid and especially in Gender and Diversity, a topic I am passionate about and continue to delve into.
Having emigrated to Germany and going through the migratory grief also influenced my professional practice, which is why today I dedicate myself to accompanying the complex changes that migration entails.
At the same time, coordinating group and reading spaces became a valuable tool for self-care and interpersonal knowledge that enriches me personally and professionally.
In my practice, a key aspect is ensuring people feel comfortable and safe from the very first moment, as I understand the nerves and anxieties that come with starting therapy.
In our initial sessions, I find it important to establish therapeutic goals that will serve as the compass guiding our process.
In addition to verbal communication, we will utilize various resources such as psychotherapeutic techniques, texts, films, illustrations, guides, etc.
Sessions can be conducted virtually or in person in Berlin.
