Psychological Counselling/Psychologische Beratung/Psykologisk Rådgivning (in English, German and Danish)
Hi, I’m Mille,
I’m a clinical psychologist based in Berlin. Alongside my private practice, I work at Immanuel Hospital in the field of chronic pain and psychosomatic health.
I often work with people experiencing burnout, stress, chronic illness, or a general sense of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I’ve also worked in crisis intervention settings, supporting people in situations that can feel intense or difficult to make sense of.
Before working clinically, I was involved in psychological research at the Weizenbaum Institute, Max Planck Society and Charité. These experiences continue to shape how I understand emotional life—as something deeply connected to relationships, environments and wider social contexts.
I am certified in Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and in my counselling I work integratively, combining creative techniques with psychodynamic theory and body-oriented approaches. Together, we shape the process based on what feels most relevant and manageable for you.
In our sessions, we explore how patterns from the past may be shaping the present—and how to relate to them differently. The relationship between us is an important part of this process, and over time it can become a space where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored safely and with curiosity. If we find it fitting, we can integrate creative/artistic and mindfulness-based exercises into our sessions.
If you're curious, I suggest booking a free introductory session—where we can explore together whether my counselling might be a good fit for you.
Sessions are offered as psychological counselling, coaching, and supportive conversations, and do not replace medical or psychiatric treatment. If needed, I’m happy to support you in navigating the healthcare system and finding appropriate next steps
