About me
I am a clinical psychologist and a psychodynamic therapist in training. Having experienced expat life on different continents for more than a decade of my life, I have developed a culturally sensitive lens in my clinical practice. I understand the unique challenges of expatriate life and I assist clients on their journey.
I am curious about human life and believe in the unique potential that lies within each of us. I dedicate my work towards assisting you to set yourself free of intergenerational -trauma bonds and expectations to reach your true self and your full potential.

I use a holistic approach beyond traditional talk-therapy. From my own experiences on my healing journey from childhood PTSD, I have learned that elements of somatic experiencing, dance therapy, breath work and inner child work, all play a crucial part in the integration of trauma. I help clients to rewire their neuronal networks, free their body and mind from chronic stress, anxiety, anger/rage, shame and/or self-sabotaging behaviours.
I work with individuals and also offer online groups for all those who want to overcome the consequences of complex PTSD and want to move from surviving to thriving.
I also understand the unique challenges of parenting as a trauma survivor. Neglect and abuse in childhood commonly leads to heightened emotional distress and chronic activation of the stress response at baseline. Our inner alarm system can become more easily triggered and can also set off "false alarms". This happens when we misperceive a situation as threatening due to reminders of the past.
My trauma informed counselling on parenting issues can help with
-self-soothing during stressful interactions with your child
-co-regulating
-identifying projections from the past
- help establish a secure attachment that is defined by healthy repair after ruptures
-overcome own parenting shame
-establish and maintain healthy boundaries
I also work with couples and use Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy as my main model.
