My journey could be described as a shift "from the head to the body." After studying social psychology, my work initially focused on cognitive approaches. However, I soon realized that this alone had its limits. To truly work effectively with my clients, I needed methods that engage every part; the mind, the body and the soul. Integrating these dimensions allows a deeper, more holistic growth and healing.
Over the years, I've pursued numerous trainings, driven by a fascination with different therapeutic approaches. This has given me a broad spectrum of methods to draw from in my work. After living a very grounded and mind-based life in a long-term relationship and a stable job at a government agency, I made a bold shift. I created a life on my own terms with more space for body- and soulwisdom. This includes exploring alternative living and love arrangements. Designing my own path is central to both; my personal journey and the way I help others navigate their own.
I believe we always hold the solutions to our challenges within ourselves, but sometimes it takes a reflective space with a professional to uncover them. My role is to ask the right questions, creating an environment where you can access your own answers. Through this process, I empower you to trust your inner wisdom and move forward with clarity and confidence in your unique journey.
My approach is holistic and integrative, combining cognitive methods with body-oriented techniques. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences deeply. By integrating relaxation therapies and trauma-sensitive practices, I help people reconnect with their bodies and inner selves. This process not only fosters healing but also invites moments of joy and playfulness, empowering clients to navigate life transitions with confidence and a sense of fulfillment.
