I am a psychotherapist who graduated in cognitive behavioural therapy who is currently in training in psychodynamic therapy so I offer a wide array of techniques to approach your problems.
I have a lot of experience since starting in my profession in 2010 and have worked with people struggeling with depressions, anxiety, compulsive disorders, interactional problems, substance addiction, sexual topics and so on in a variety of contexts (adolescents, artists, inmates, LGBTQI clients). I am always happy to explore new worlds and very open to my clients lifes.
I am also a licensed group therapist with experience in groups dealing with anger-management, depression, borderline personalities and social-compentence issues.
My work is grounded on the believe that psychological problems are emotional problems, though sometimes it's hard to grasp those feelings underlying our problems. That is why my therapies start with an anlysis of your problems and the exploration of the feelings involved. We then try to see the bigger picture in regard to your biography and the significant relationships you were / are involved in. We think about your desires and wishes and possible solutions, try to find suitable strategies and train them in everyday-life and evaluate what works best for you.
On our journey together I will be a reliable, trustworthy companion who is listening patiently, endures difficult feelings we might discover and helps you through with humour as laughing together is sometimes a very important part of a psychotherapy.
