I work in an addiction treatment ward and have gained experience in both psychiatric hospitals and private practice. My focus is not only on providing therapy but also on challenging the stigma surrounding mental illness. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen beyond their diagnosis, and I am committed to creating a space of acceptance and understanding.
My therapeutic approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I integrate motivational interviewing (MI) because I believe that each person knows best what is right for them—I simply help uncover their inner motivation. In addition, I work extensively with ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and place great importance on biographical work. I value a collaborative approach and strive to tailor therapy to the individual needs and wishes of my clients.
