Hello there! I am a compassionate and experienced person-centered body-oriented psychologist. I further integrate science and evidence-based psychotherapies to give you a holistic, safe, and consequence-free environment. So far, I have lived in three continents and I am well-versed with the challenges life brings. Feel free to be informal with me so that we can explore your authentic self and do a deep dive into your inhibitions. I will tap into your attachment styles, further checking-in with your inner child and your inner voice as they will be the guiding forces to understand the needs of your adult self.
My training in enhanced cognitive and behavioral therapy (CBT-E) and gestalt therapy equips me to practice psychotherapy through an integrative approach. Depending on your presenting problems, we will start with an in-depth assessment of your emotional alignment. There are no judgments here, only explorations of your intellectualized feelings. Therapy with me will always be YOU-focused and your verbatim so we can understand what your blockages may be to process your complications effectively. If you are a curious soul, we may subsequently engage in context-specific psychoeducation. In the first session, let me know how you feel about homework and if you experience sensory alterations.
Welcome to your brain's breathing room! π§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ
A Cognitive Health Check-Up is included in the treatment plan. It is a comprehensive evaluation that aims to assess your presenting problems, overall mental functioning, including memory, attention, problem-solving abilities, and emotional well-being. One commonly used tool in the check-up is the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2), a widely recognized psychological test designed to evaluate personality traits, psychopathology, and emotional disorders.
The MMPI-2 helps identify psychosomatic issues that may be affecting cognitive health, dissociative disorders, or personality disorders. After the MMPI-2, a psychological assessment, i.e., an interview follows where you are encouraged to discuss your concerns, symptoms, and the recent changes in your cognitive or emotional state. This holistic approach helps create a clear picture of your cognitive health and aids in developing a tailored treatment plan. You will also receive a software generated report. Kindly save it as a PDF.
