My approach is based on person-centered therapy integrating tools and techniques from other theoretical frameworks. Each person and situation is unique and requires a holistic perspective in order to create the supportive environment needed for a specific individual at a specific point in their life. The first sessions focus on building a trusting and non-judgemental relationship, understanding your story and the current challenges in your life. In time the process might take us deeper into life experiences that have shaped your perspective and beliefs. My aim is to help you become more self-aware, accept behaviours and recognise patterns and develop the skills needed to overcome difficulties. The number of sessions are determined by what you want to achieve through counselling and can be either a few sessions that will help with a specific situation or a long-term process.
