A creative, experienced relationship counsellor and somatic coach based in Berlin, I've helped many couples, individuals and polycules navigate troubling times and find their way to clarity, connection and joy.
I’m Freya (she/her), an EFT counsellor, somatic coach and workshop facilitator. I’m trans, queer, poly, and kinky, and so are some of my clients (although I also see many clients who are none of these!) I worked previously as a complex trauma therapist for individuals with histories of sexual abuse in childhood and adulthood, and in domestic violence intervention. I’m also training currently as a sexological bodyworker. I'm curious about pretty much everything. I love the ocean, I love my friends and I love my job. Ask me about anything!
My work with couples/relationships is based on Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), an approach with strong scientific validation that is proven to help 90% of distressed relationships. I also draw on elements of somatic experiencing, focusing, parts work, art therapy and somatic sexology in an integrative approach that can adapt to the many different ways that different clients need to go in order to heal and grow. Counselling with me is flexible, creative, playful and sometimes fun in a way that many people find surprising.
