I’m a systemic therapist in training, currently in the advanced stage of licensed clinical psychotherapy training in Germany. With a background in Clinical Neuroscience (M.Sc.), I integrate knowledge about the brain, body, culture, and environment into my therapeutic work. At the heart of my approach are empathy, presence, and respect for each person’s story.
I’ve supported people in diverse areas of mental health, including social care for those navigating psychiatric conditions, addiction rehab for individuals facing substance use and legal challenges, and work rehabilitation for clients dealing with burnout, identity crises, and a loss of purpose. Living, studying, and working in Canada, the Netherlands, and Norway has given me a deep understanding of the expat experience and the emotional challenges that come with crossing cultures and borders.
As a queer therapist 🏳️🌈, I bring both lived and professional insight into minority stress, trauma, and identity development. I offer queer-affirmative care in a space where all parts of you are welcome. If you’re navigating life between places, identities, or stages, I’m here to support you.
I focus on the bigger picture: your story, your relationships, and the different parts that shape who you are. I support your understanding of these parts and develop a more supportive, compassionate inner dialogue. Think of it as helping you become your own best friend.
Therapy with me is a collaborative space. You bring your life experience, I bring tools and guidance. Together, we build on your strengths and inner resources to create meaningful change. I also draw on my experience with meditation and mindfulness, as well as my neuroscience background, to support the connection between body and mind, encourage self-compassion, and foster resilience.
The real work often happens between sessions. I may offer practical reflection exercises to deepen insight and apply what we explore during the session in your daily life. We will also decide together how often to meet in a way that supports your goals and respects your budget.
Please note that my services are limited to psychological counselling and do not qualify as psychotherapy under German law (Heilpraktikergesetz). I am not authorized to diagnose or treat mental disorders. In our free initial session, we will assess whether this service is suitable or if a referral to a licensed professional may be more appropriate.
