I am a licensed psychologist with an MSc in clinical psychology at Utrecht University, as well as a CBT psychotherapist in training. The first two years of my professional life I was working in the humanitarian field as a psychologist with various international organizations, offering my services to refugees living in Greece. Through my challenging experience in the field, I have gained experience in the field of trauma, grief, and psychosis and more specifically in the recovering from sexual trauma.
Besides my work in the field, I had the opportunity to work with many other organizations, specializing in mental and/or physical disabilities, through which I developed a holistic approach in my practice. My specialties include supporting individuals dealing with migration-related challenges, LGBTQIA+ concerns, sexual trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and more. I usually use the first session to determine if I can best support the client’s needs. I am attuned to the experiences of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly in matters of racism and discrimination.
At the moment I am based in Berlin and collaborating with Lebenshilfe social company while also offering psychological counselling sessions in my private practice.
