My practice is directed at people of all identities, ages or backgrounds. Everyone motivated to learn something about themselves and their lives, to change, to revive or to let go is welcome.
The processes are based on trust and cooperation between the client and myself. The sessions are not meant to make people “healthy again”; rather, I accompany you on an equal level and help you to reach your potential and to grow. Everyone carries the solutions to their own problems within themselves. As a healing practitioner I am bound to professional confidentiality. Regular supervision and further traininga are very important too me in my own path of growth as a practitioner.
Before becoming a therapist i studied philosophy and worked as a theatre dramaturge and for a film festival. I have a dog, who sometimes joins the therapy sessions, if also desired by the client.
EMDR: EMDR is short for ‘Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing’.
It is an established, well-researched and effective treatment method for trauma-related disorders. Bilateral stimulation (reciprocal stimulation of both hemispheres of the brain) - classically visually, through a repeated finger movement - activates the innate, solution-orientated mental and spiritual self-healing system (similar to the immune system).
EMDR is recommended by the WHO as an established, scientifically recognised method for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
BODY PSYCHOTHERAPY:
Working together by way of touch, breathing, movement and expression to recognise old behaviour patterns, release rigid structures and allow emotions to flow. I also offer systemic constellations combined with bodywork and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a method of trauma therapy. Each session is individually designed according to the issues, goals and wishes of my client.
The body is an expression of ourselves. In addition to verbal communication, nonverbal body signals encourage a better knowledge of the wisdom of one´s own body. The senses and perception are strengthened to support a more sensitive recognition of oneself, the world and one´s own needs and wishes.
The holistic approach draws connections between physical suffering and old, troublesome beliefs. These will often have had an important protective function, but are now experienced as a restricting pattern, repressing the inner voice or individual impulses.
Through transforming processes, problems can be used as a life resource, even with major problems and despite having been there for a long time. Recovery from a traumatic experience can often be reached.
