I am Victoria de la Parra, a Dance Movement (Psycho) Therapist and Body Therapist from Chile, currently living in Berlin. I hold a Master's degree in Dance Movement Therapy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and I have received training in the Cognitive Body Integration Method, as well as in Expressive Arts Therapy for trauma and Somatic Practices.
My work is driven by a profound appreciation for the healing potential of the body and movement. I feel privileged to accompany individuals on their journey of healing and personal growth, always placing their well-being as a top priority.
As a dance movement therapist, my approach is rooted in the principles of embodiment, enaction, and intersubjectivity. This means that I focus on the connection between the mind and body, working with lived experiences, sensations, and body memory. In therapy, I emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Together with my clients, we construct and explore relational experiences. Furthermore, I integrate a political perspective into my approach, recognizing the impact of power structures and societal influences on individuals.
