I'm a licensed Gestalt therapist and practice the deeply humanistic approach in my Berlin practice in German and English. I offer broad and resourceful psychotherapeutic support in various gray and colorful situations.
My name is Adrian Grell. I started my journey in 2006 with training as a personal and business coach, which I completed at University. I then worked for many years as an employee in the corporate sector, among other things.
However, my heart always beats for therapeutic work to accompany and support people in various areas of life.
Therefore, I continued my journey with the training to become a non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy in the Christoph Maar training institute, which I officially completed successfully. Afterward, I started a 4.5-year extensive Gestalt therapy training at the Institute for Gestalt Therapy and Gestalt Pedagogy Berlin, which I finished with a final thesis on "Confluence and the desire for contact". Parallel to my therapy training, I studied psychotherapy sciences at the Open University in London and qualified further as a Gestalt couples and group therapist.

The word Gestalt comes from German. In its closest meaning, 'whole', 'pattern', or 'form' are equivalent. By appreciating the whole, we can find meaning rather than dividing things into parts. In other words, Gestalt involves a holistic approach. A holistic view of the individual emphasizes the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
My work with clients is to help them focus on self-awareness: what is happening in the Here and Now. New perspectives and effective changes are possible through a deeper understanding of the present and one's immediate thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and related patterns.
The Gestalt approach is very dynamic, spontaneous, and creative since it focuses on the present moment and immediate thoughts and feelings.
The growth of holistic awareness and an increased understanding of how we think, feel, and act is liberating. As a result, you develop self-confidence, become more capable of handling issues, and can live your life to the fullest.
