i believe therapy is a space to explore what's happened in the past, what's going on now, and what might happen next, and to navigate these sometimes difficult roads in order to find a way back to ourselves.

About me

I am an experienced practitioner, originally from the UK. I have been working with clients for over 15 years now, in many different settings. I have a science and business background: my first degree was in Zoology/Psychology, and i worked in Logistics for 10 years. Then, feeling tired of the corporate 9 - 5, i decided at 30 to got back to university to retrain as a therapist.

I am interested in community and building networks. I was happy to collaborate with some colleagues here in the heart of Neukölln to set up a shared Praxis (Counselling Kollektiv Berlin). I happily welcome you into our space.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
GSRD (Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity) TherapyRecommended for those seeking affirmative support and guidance while navigating the complexities of identity, sexuality, and relationships.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Sex therapyRecommended for individuals or couples who want help improving their sex life, intimacy, or overcoming sexual issues in a supportive environment.
As an integrative therapist, my approach is adapted to suit the client need. I am focussed on facilitating the client to face those things that they may be struggling with: this might look like a change process (or processes), working through trauma, figuring out how neurodivergence is affecting the client, understanding how anxiety and depression function and sit in the body, or re-narrating difficult family dynamics, to give some examples.

As a queer therapist, it has been important for me to complete further trainings around gender, sexuality and relationship diversity in order to better understand the different oppression dynamics and lived experiences that can influence queer lives in particular. I am Advanced Accredited with Pink Therapy in the UK.

As a couples therapist, i might be working with communication styles, how neurodivergencies may be affecting the couple, how to open up the relationship or deal with challenging poly dynamics, how to do understand different relational/attachment styles in a partnership, or how to recover from betrayal/relationship ruptures.

Overall, as a therapist, what i enjoy the most in my work is meeting people where they're at, getting to meet the differnet versions of themselves through the process, and witnessing them be the most they can be in their lives.

My approach is also Neurodivergently aligned, Trauma informed and intersectional. And regarding rates, I can offer student rates and a sliding scale.
