As an integrative therapist, my approach is adapted to suit the client need. I am focussed on facilitating the client to face those things that they may be struggling with: this might look like a change process (or processes), working through trauma, figuring out how neurodivergence is affecting the client, understanding how anxiety and depression function and sit in the body, or re-narrating difficult family dynamics, to give some examples.
As a queer therapist, it has been important for me to complete further trainings around gender, sexuality and relationship diversity in order to better understand the different oppression dynamics and lived experiences that can influence queer lives in particular. I am Advanced Accredited with Pink Therapy in the UK.
As a couples therapist, i might be working with communication styles, how neurodivergencies may be affecting the couple, how to open up the relationship or deal with challenging poly dynamics, how to do understand different relational/attachment styles in a partnership, or how to recover from betrayal/relationship ruptures.
Overall, as a therapist, what i enjoy the most in my work is meeting people where they're at, getting to meet the differnet versions of themselves through the process, and witnessing them be the most they can be in their lives.
My approach is also Neurodivergently aligned, Trauma informed and intersectional. And regarding rates, I can offer student rates and a sliding scale.
