More music & wellbeing for your life! As a certified music therapist, I help neurodivergent people work on their personal issues. I am particularly good at helping to gain clarity! DE | EN
As I have always made and listened to music myself, I know the effect music can have on our mental health. It can give our inner self a voice, trigger emotions, strengthen us or give us structure. In my work, I specialize in neurodivergence (ADHD | Autism | AuDHD) in both adults and children. In my work, it’s important to me to create a space where you feel comfortable. Music is often associated with performance, pressure, or notions of right and wrong. In music therapy, that’s absolutely not the case! Here, there’s no need to perform. Here, you can rediscover your childlike curiosity through music and let your creative side shine. You don’t have to be musical to do music therapy!
About myself: I'm a fan of jazz, soul and also techno. I've been playin the saxophone basically my whole life, taught myself the guitar and would love to play the piano better than I actually can. I know about the struggle of practising too!Currently I'm discovering the world of synthesizers. I'm also a mother. What inspires you about music?
You can find out more about my work and approaches on my website: www.praxis-musik-ergo.de
Are you looking for a creative approach in therapy rather than just talking? Do you find it hard to put your inner feelings into words? Do you have a thousand ideas but never get round to putting them into practice? Has music always had a positive effect on you in some way? Do you feel driven and long for more peace of mind?
Does this sound like you? Here’s a brief insight into how I work: I use active or regulative methods to support you in pursuing your concerns. In our sessions we can listen to music (regulative music therapy) or make music (active music therapy), no matter the musical genre. We can also use music production as a tool. The activity is then reflected upon. In my work, I am particularly good at being transparent and empowering my clients. I can help you bring some structure to your inner world. We’ll find out how music can help you in your everyday life!
