I was born in 1988 in Berlin, where I grew up in a family of body psychotherapists.
In 2012, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, UK. During this time, my main interest was in understanding emotional cognition in people with alexithymia or autism spectrum disorder.
In 2014, I received a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. There I researched the neurological basis of sensory integration as a possible substrate for human consciousness.
After my studies, I returned to Berlin. For several years, I worked as a research associate at the Bernstein Centre for Computational Neuroscience, where I explored the neurological basis of memory, learning, and navigation.
I completed my training in Integrative Psychotherapy in Berlin at the Christoph Mahr Institute. In addition, I completed further hypnotherapy training and an introduction to Somatic Experiencing (SE)®. I am also currently undertaking further training in body psychotherapy.
