About me

I grew up in a small, remote village in France, and I still remember that feeling of being out of place, a bit like a penguin among giraffes, striving hard to become something it will never be. At twenty, I left France to study in the United States and Germany, and went straight into work after graduating: first at a French multinational in Ireland, then in Belgium. At work, I did what I had always done: earning recognition through relentless striving for excellence, meeting management's ever-renewed expectations, working very long hours. It ended painfully, with a burnout.

I left the company, spent several months backpacking through Asia, and landed in Berlin in 2008. For the first time in my life, I felt at home. I could finally "poser mes valises"/settle.

Motherhood came a few years later, and with it, an urge to confront the past, so that history would not repeat itself, and so that my children would have the freedom to grow into whoever they wanted to be. Learning to set limits was part of that too.

In the final years of my corporate career, my role evolved toward mentoring and coaching, accompanying teams from across Europe through processes of change and transformation. Somewhere in that work, something became clear: what I valued most was those moments when something shifts in a person, when a burden lifts, or a new path becomes visible.

That clarity brought me here. In 2019, I undertook extensive further education in personality development, coaching and systemic counseling and in 2023 I opened my own practice in Berlin as a licensed non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
IFS: Internal family systemsRecommended for those who want to explore and heal the different parts of themselves that might feel conflicted or overwhelmed.
Solution-focused therapyRecommended for those who want quick, practical solutions to their problems without focusing too much time on the past.
Systemic therapyRecommended for those who want to understand how their relationships and environments influence their behavior and emotions, particularly within family or organizational systems.

Therapy has accompanied my own development throughout these years, and I have had the chance to experience it in many forms, from psychoanalysis and behavioral therapy to systemic approaches. Along the way, I encountered different therapists who, beyond their varying methods, each brought their own distinct way of holding the therapeutic space. These experiences as a patient, alongside my professional background, have profoundly shaped who I am as a therapist. Not only do I bring a grounded understanding of "real-world" challenges and a sensitivity to cultural differences but also a structured way of working and a genuine commitment to tangible, lasting results. My first priority is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can unfold and grow. At the start of our work together, we define what you want to get out of therapy, and throughout the process, we check in regularly to make sure we stay focused on your needs and on what works best for you. Therapy can be a powerful support in a moment of crisis, but also a longer-term path toward greater resilience, a way to meet life's challenges with a different mindset and to free yourself, sustainably, from old patterns of reaction. My approach is guided by one underlying intention: to accompany you to a point where you no longer need me. I bring a pragmatic, resource-oriented perspective, and where it serves you, a gently challenging one. My work draws primarily on systemic approaches and Internal Family Systems. Where it feels right, I also work with the senses as an additional resource: engaging the body alongside the mind, and using the sense of smell in particular to deepen cognitive work and support emotional anchoring. All of this, with a pinch of humor.

Experience

I began practicing as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy in 2022 and opened my own practice in Berlin in February 2023.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years in the life sciences industry; work that brought me, into close contact with both physicians and their patients, including in the development of new medications. This background has given me a strong and grounded awareness of where therapy in the form of counseling ends and medical expertise begins. I take that boundary seriously: when a client's condition goes beyond my scope of training and expertise, I address it transparently and refer them to the appropriate specialist.
