About me

We live in a time when we know more about ourselves than ever before, and yet so often feel like strangers to ourselves.

Many people come to therapy carrying a feeling that is hard to name. A sense of disorientation. A restlessness or emptiness. The feeling of not being quite present in their own life, in their relationships, in themselves. Sometimes we know exactly what it is, sometimes not at all. And it is ok not to know. Often, underneath it all, there is a loss of connection to oneself, to others, to what gives life meaning.

I am an accredited psychotherapist and clinical psychologist, trained in psychodynamic therapy. Growing up between the UK and Germany, I know firsthand what it means to navigate between cultures and languages.

In my experience, therapy is less about fixing and more about becoming. Less about making the pain go away, and more about discovering that you can survive it, even the parts you might never have let yourself feel.

Beginning therapy takes courage. Looking inward can feel daunting at first, and at the same time, it can help to have what is happening inside you feel less frightening, and to no longer feel so alone with it.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
MeditationMeditation is a practice to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
Psychedelic integration therapyRecommended for those who have had psychedelic experiences and want help understanding and integrating the insights into their everyday life for personal growth and self-discovery.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

Much of what drives us, our reactions, our patterns, our fears, operates below the level of awareness. Not by choice: we learn, without knowing it, to protect ourselves from what once felt unbearable. But pushed aside does not mean gone. It continues to shape how we feel, how we relate, what we repeat, often without knowing why.

Psychodynamic therapy creates the conditions to look at what has been out of sight, not to judge it, but to understand where it comes from. And slowly, to have more choice about it. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, but I also draw on models and tools from other therapeutic approaches, working integratively when it makes sense.

I encourage you to bring whatever comes to mind: dreams, fantasies, seemingly small things. And I am an active presence in this process. I share what I notice in myself, what I observe when patterns emerge or repeat. Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. Over time, this relationship becomes a kind of mirror: what you carry from other relationships, expectations, fears, ways of being seen or unseen, shows up here too. This is not a disruption, but an opportunity. Which is why I encourage you to bring whatever feels off in the process: uncertainty, irritation, the sense of being misunderstood.

The human psyche is not a finished territory. We are still discovering how change happens. Alongside my psychodynamic training, I completed a two-year programme in Augmented Psychotherapy at the MIND Foundation. Insights from working with altered states of consciousness, meditation, and breathwork inform how I understand the body and mind's place in psychological change.

I work with a broad range of concerns: depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity, grief and loss.

Therapy is an individual process. You decide, or we find out together, what should be at the centre of our work. The goal is not only relief from symptoms, but something harder to name and perhaps more important: to really live. To inhabit oneself. To feel connection to oneself, to others, to one's own life. Not a problem solved, but a self that feels alive

Sessions are 80€ for self-paying clients. Different rates may apply for those with private health insurance — we can discuss this in an initial conversation.
