I'm a psychological counsellor and art therapist aiming to provide culturally aware and trauma informed care to all of my clients.
Life is tough and so are you, but we can’t be tough forever. Together we can help you come into better contact with your emotions, goals, and self. If you’ve been looking for a safe, trauma-informed, and culturally competent therapist, this might be the place for you.
I've lived in Berlin for the past couple of years and completed my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy while doing so. Before that, I was a graphic designer living in the United States. I am no stranger to change and the difficulties that come with it—I wish to be the person I needed during times of adversity.
I focus on working with People of Color, immigrants, and Queer/LGBTQIA+ clients going through depression, anxiety, burnout, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and personal growth. I combine talk therapy with art making, mindfulness, self-reflection, CBT, DBT, and EFT aligned concepts. My approach is typically insight-oriented and focuses on your personal journey. We can still work together if you are only interested in talk therapy!
If you do not see yourself reflected in my specialties and would still like to work together, I'd be happy to have a quick intro call to discuss.
I work both in-person and online. In-person sessions are held in either Neukölln or Prenzlauerberg.
I prefer a humanistic, client-centered approach to my practice. I utilize my unique experiences and positionality to better understand those of the people I work with.
