About me

The people I work with are usually holding things together on the outside. But something keeps getting in the way - anxiety that doesn't switch off, a low mood that's hard to name, habits they've tried to break more than once, or relationship dynamics they keep finding themselves in. I'm Juhi, a psychologist and counsellor with over 10 years of experience and a PhD in how patterns form and why they're so hard to shift - even when you can see them clearly. Most people who want to change their behaviour aren't lacking insight. They struggle to understand what's actually keeping the pattern in place, and that's a different problem entirely. Whatever brings them in, we work through it by understanding the patterns underneath, not just the symptoms on the surface. I've lived across India, the UK, Greece, and Germany. I work with a lot of people navigating similar moves, and the particular version of anxiety, self-doubt, or identity questions that expat life tends to surface.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
DBT: Dialectical behaviour therapyRecommended for those who want to learn skills to manage intense emotions and improve their relationships, especially if they feel easily overwhelmed.

My sessions are collaborative. I'll listen, but I'll also push back, spot patterns you might not be seeing, and connect things across what you share. The goal isn't just to feel heard. It's for you to leave our sessions with something you can actually use. I draw on CBT, ACT, and DBT depending on what's most useful for you. The modality matters less than the fit, and I'll always explain my thinking so you're never just following a process you don't understand. Over time, the aim is for you to need me less. You'll start to catch your own patterns, interrupt them earlier, and respond to difficult moments with more choice and less automatic reaction.
