About me

My relationship with psychology began early through my own process of self-exploration and healing. These experiences, alongside my professional training, inform the calm and reflective way I work with clients today.

With roots in both Germany and Malaysia, and having studied in London and Berlin, I bring a culturally attuned perspective to my practice. Living across different countries and rebuilding my life more than once has shaped my understanding of how identity, culture, and environment influence emotional wellbeing. I understand firsthand the courage it takes to start again, and I hold space for the complexity that can come with change, transition, and redefining oneself.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Narrative therapyRecommended for those who want to rewrite the way they view their life story and feel more empowered in their personal journey.

I take an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, recognising that no two people and no two life stories are the same. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. This allows us to tailor therapy to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Our struggles rarely exist in isolation. Together, we explore not only the symptoms bringing you to therapy today, but also the broader context of your life, including your relationships, experiences, patterns, values, and the environments that have shaped you.

I believe that healing begins with understanding the whole story, not just your symptoms, but the experiences, relationships, environments, and strengths that have shaped who you are. Often, when we can make sense of how our past influences our present, we can respond to ourselves with greater clarity, compassion, and choice.

At the heart of my work is a humanistic approach. I don’t believe people are problems to be solved or labels to be defined by. Instead, I see therapy as an opportunity to better understand yourself with curiosity and compassion. My role is to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported as we work together towards meaningful and lasting change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, identity challenges, ADHD, and emotional overwhelm. I also have a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy and the transition into motherhood, also known as matrescence. Since becoming a mother myself, this area has become especially meaningful to my practice and deepened my appreciation of the emotional, psychological, and identity shifts that often accompany this stage of life.

I also offer ADHD support sessions for adults, providing a compassionate and practical space to better understand your unique way of thinking. Rather than viewing ADHD solely through the lens of deficits, we work together to understand how your brain functions, build on your strengths, develop practical strategies for executive functioning and emotional regulation, and create systems that support the life you want to live.

All sessions are conducted online, allowing you to access therapy from wherever you are. I also offer therapy packages for anxiety and ADHD designed to provide more structured support. You can learn more about these, along with my individual services, on my website: www.nataschaknobloch.com
