I’m a psychologist, coach, and embodiment practitioner, helping people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Through a holistic, body-based approach, I support lasting, meaningful change from the inside out.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and have been working in the field of mental health and personal development for several years. Alongside my academic training, I hold certifications in coaching and embodiment work, and I am also a trained yoga teacher, with a foundation in Hatha Yoga and somatic movement facilitation. A central focus of my work has been the interaction and integration of body and mind — a topic I explored in depth in my Master’s thesis, and one that continues to shape my perspective as a coach and facilitator.
In addition to my one-on-one work, I have created mindfulness-based courses and content, translating psychological knowledge and practices into accessible and practical formats. I also give talks and facilitate workshops on topics such as mindfulness, mental health, and navigating stress, both in more intimate group settings as well as on fairs and conferences.
I have gained experience supporting people especially around topics such as stress, self-worth, inner restlessness, emotional regulation, life direction, and relationships.
My work is grounded in a holistic, body-oriented approach that integrates psychological insight with direct experience. I combine elements from cognitive behavioral coaching, mindfulness, embodiment practices, parts work, and schema therapy to support development and change on multiple levels.
What I often see is that people already understand themselves quite well on a rational level, yet still feel stuck and unable to bring about the change they long for. This is why I go beyond reflection, so I can support clients in accessing new experiences through the body, allowing for immediate and more lasting change.
Sessions are tailored to the individual and move between reflection and experience. At times, we explore behavioral patterns, beliefs, and relational dynamics; at other times, we focus on developing practical tools and taking concrete steps in everyday life. A key part of my work is helping clients not only understand themselves, but also feel and embody new ways of being.
I work in a trauma-sensitive, resource-oriented way and place great importance on creating a safe and trusting space. My role is to support you in reconnecting with yourself, gaining clarity, and strengthening your capacity to interact with life in a self-directed and conscious way.
1:1 Counseling I’ve worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds – from students navigating procrastination and direction, to professionals feeling stuck or questioning their path, to clients dealing with stress-related or chronic health challenges.
Workshops & Public Speaking I design and facilitate workshops on stress regulation, mindfulness, and personal development in both corporate and educational settings.
Psychologist & App-Content Manager I’ve developed psychology-based content for a leading mindfulness app, creating courses and tools around mental health, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.
