About me

Hi, I am Katherine. I am a psychologist and neuropsychologist based in Berlin, and I work one to one with people who want to understand themselves better.

That might mean you are burnt out, or getting close to it. It might mean you are moving through a difficult period, a transition, or a loss. It might mean things are functioning on the outside but feel harder than they should on the inside. Or it might simply mean you are curious about yourself and want support while you figure something out.

You do not need a diagnosis to come. You do not need to be in crisis. You just need to want to understand yourself more clearly, and to be ready to actually look.

My background is in systemic psychology, narrative psychology, and neuropsychology. In practice, what that means is that I bring real clinical and scientific depth to the work. I can explain what is happening in your nervous system, where certain patterns come from, why you respond the way you do under pressure. That information is not a detour from therapy. It is part of it. I work with people across European and Latin American contexts and offer sessions in English and Spanish. My perspective is shaped by those experiences, and by a genuine commitment to inclusive, affirming care.

The people I work with tend to be curious and reflective. They want to understand the why behind things. They want therapy that feels active and engaged, not passive. If that sounds like you, I think we would work well together.

Sessions are available in person in Berlin and online. I offer a free 30-minute introductory call before we begin, so you can ask questions and get a sense of how I work before committing to anything.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Narrative therapyRecommended for those who want to rewrite the way they view their life story and feel more empowered in their personal journey.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Systemic therapyRecommended for those who want to understand how their relationships and environments influence their behavior and emotions, particularly within family or organizational systems.

My approach is active and systemic. We are going to explore together, build together, and make sense of things together.

Every session draws on real psychological and neuropsychological understanding. I pay close attention to your nervous system, your personal history, your relationships, and the wider contexts you move through, because none of those things exist in isolation. The way you respond under pressure, the patterns that keep showing up, the feelings that do not seem to match the situation: all of it makes sense when you have the full picture. My job is to help you get that picture.

The approach is systemic, which means I do not treat symptoms in isolation. I look at the whole of your experience. Your history, your relationships, the pressures you are carrying, the social and cultural contexts that have shaped you. Change that only addresses one part of that picture rarely sticks. Change that comes from genuinely understanding the whole of it tends to last.

Sessions are collaborative. You are not a passive recipient of my interpretation. We work together, and the direction of the work is shaped by what you are actually bringing, not a fixed protocol.

I work with people on stress and burnout, including the kind that does not look like burnout from the outside. On career pressure and transitions. On grief and loss. On questions of meaning and direction. On relationships and communication, including patterns that keep repeating no matter how much you want them to go differently. On identity and self-understanding.

What I offer is a real understanding of how you work, and the tools and insight to do something with that. Most people find that more useful than they expected.

Sessions are 50 minutes. Available in person in Berlin or online, in English or Spanish. €105 per session, with sliding scale available on a case by case basis.

If you want to get a sense of whether this is the right fit, book a free 30-minute introductory call. No charge, no commitment. Just an honest conversation.
