Approach

Treatment Approaches
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
Nonviolent communicationRecommended for those who want to improve communication and to regulate conflicts by learning how to express their feelings and needs and listening to other’s.
Systemic approachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.

In my work, I combine a resource-oriented approach with practical methods. It is important to me that you feel seen, understood, and taken seriously. I work systemically, which means that I don't just look at “the problem,” but also at the connections, relationships, and strengths that you bring with you. I like to use inner parts work, biographical schema work, and constellations in my work.

Classic fields of work:

  • Couples & family counseling: opening up the conversation for topics such as closeness and distance, communication, past hurts, and a resourceful look into the future
  • Life transitions & crisis counseling: developing new perspectives with a systemic view and activating your own resources, typical topics such as relationships, career, identity, life decisions.

I look forward to hearing from you in a short introductory message so that we can arrange a free introductionary appointment to get to know each other. Best regards and all the best, Anika Bergmann
