About me

I am an Art Therapist with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Arts Education for Social Inclusion, and a background in Fine Arts with an academic focus on Social Psychology. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across educational, clinical, and community settings.

Throughout my work, I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and processes of self-discovery. My experience includes private practice, hospital settings, and community-based mental health programs, where I have used creative processes to foster emotional expression, connection, and well-being.

I am a professional member of the Colombian Art Therapy Association. My approach is grounded in a humanistic and non-directive perspective, where each person is met with respect and sensitivity. I see the creative process as a meaningful way to access what is often difficult to express in words, opening space for insight, healing, and transformation.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Art therapyRecommended for those who feel more comfortable expressing emotions through creativity and want to explore their feelings through art rather than talking.

My approach is humanistic, relational, and non-directive. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their emotions at their own pace. You don’t need any artistic experience to work with me. The focus is not on creating “art,” but on using creative expression as a way to connect with your inner world.

In a session, we may combine conversation with simple creative exercises such as drawing, writing, or working with images and materials. These processes can help access emotions, memories, or insights that are not always easy to reach through words alone. Some sessions may feel reflective and calm, while others can be more emotionally engaging, depending on what you are going through.

I often work with individuals experiencing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions such as separation or personal change. Together, we create a process that feels supportive and meaningful for you, whether you come with a specific goal or simply a desire to understand yourself more deeply.

My intention is to help you feel accompanied, understood, and gently supported as you move toward greater clarity, emotional balance, and personal growth.
